Online Backup System
The Backup Module is a Java application, based on the client server model, providing functionality of backing up / restoring selected files from the local system on to a remote server. This application follows the standard Webdav protocol for communication between the client and the server.
The main aim of this application is to “Backup” selected files from the local system on to a remote server automatically as per schedule specified by the user. Each user is allocated a fixed amount of quota on sign up. This is the amount of data that the user can upload using the desktop application client.
The application also provides a feature to “Restore” the files backed up on the remote server to the local machine. The application, in addition to allowing the user to backup / restore documents, also provides a versioning feature wherein different versions of the document are maintained and the user can view any of the previous versions of the documents that are put under version control.
The desktop client application allows the user to specify schedule for the backup and restore processes. These processes start automatically when the time specified in the schedule is reached. The desktop client application presents a single status screen to the user which has entry points to other windows corresponding to the different modules in the application.

Data Archival System
This is a desktop application developed in Java. This application monitors specific folders for batch jobs and uploads their contents in an archived format to an FTP server. This application is particularly useful when there is a need to archive huge amounts of data to a remote location, search for specific files (using keywords) and downloading specific batches when needed.

The key features of this application are

Platform Independent – Since this application is developed in Java (1.6), it can run on any platform (Windows or Unix/Linux based systems).
Compression – The application compresses the data before uploading it to the remote location thus utilizing the bandwidth at the client’s end judiciously resulting in lesser data transfer.
Encryption – The application encrypts the data being uploaded using Blowfish algorithm (128 bit encryption) to ensure the safety of the data being transferred.
Scheduling – The application allows the user to schedule uploads for a specific time.
Search – The application allows the user to search for content within the data uploaded to the remote server.

FBF – Fujitsu Branding Framework (Content Management System)
FBF has more than 200 webmasters, 36 country portal sites, and more than 80 subsidiary sites in both Japan and China. FBF is a data processing system that takes raw XML input and produces websites in HTML. The system is designed around independent operations that are combined into processes. These processes use a central data store based on the Oracle database, connected asynchronously by a queuing system. The system is designed using Core JAVA, JSP, Servlet, Message Bean, Jboss4.0.4, Oracle10G XE technologies.

Online Examination
This is a fully automated web based application developed on .Net Framework 3.5 with C# as front end and SQLServer 2005 as back end. This application provides interfaces for site administration (user creation, test creation, reporting etc.) and test taking by the users. The key modules of this application are

Control Panel – The application provides an interface to the administrator to perform tasks like managing users with different profiles, managing exams, managing question bank, assigning users to specific exams, and generating reports.

Online Exam – The application enables a user to appear for a time bound exam. The user is prompted with questions picked on a random basis from the question bank. At the end the user is displayed with a result and an analysis of the questions answered wrongly providing the user with the correct answers. The application also provides bilingual support for Hindi and English.

Playschool Website
Saplings playschool is a web based application developed using HTML, PHP, MYSQL technology along with JavaScript and CSS.

The site provides the following functionality

- Online registration (for parents). Parents can download form as well as they can fill application form online by paying through pay pal.
- A unique registration id is generated automatically by application and status is updated if payment is made online otherwise in case of cash payment admin manually can change the pay status.
- Admin user has functionality to monitor all the online applications and they can modify, and manage them with admin panel available which is made in PHP.
- Application provides functionality for managing an online store (shopping cart functionality). All items available to be purchased for students as well as for franchisees can be ordered and paid online. The online store section enables an administrator to logon to the admin panel through which he can add/delete/modify product and product category to be available for sale online.

Job Portal
This is a web based application developed on .Net Framework 3.5 with C# as front end and SQLServer 2005 as back end.
‘Online Job Portal’ is being developed to facilitate the General administration system to manage various information of the Job Seeker, Job Provider and the processes involved in a placement company. This will enable the organization to access accurate information quickly and easily as and when required, thereby improving its operational efficiency & effectiveness.
This application is designed keeping in mind the lower strata of job seekers (drivers, peons, technicians etc.) whose main challenge is to be able to create their resume with appropriate details due to lack of English language skills. This application provides such users with the facility to key in the information related to their experience, education etc. in Hindi and subsequently assimilate this information in a standard format to present it to the employers in English.

Following are the key functionalities provided by the application

- Provide bilingual support (Hindi and English)
- Provide job seeker with the ability to create his profile in Hindi or English
- Provide user with a centralized view of the job postings as per his/her profile.
- Provide job seekers with details of the new jobs posted which match his/her profile.
- Provide the employer with details of the candidates whose profile matches the job postings made by the employer.
- Front page display for job categories, front page featured jobs and latest jobs
- Support for banner ads, text ads

Virtual Secretary
This is a web based application developed using Struts2 and Hibernate with MySQL backend. The system caters to the different needs and tasks that need to be performed in our day to day life.
The system provides a centralized service manager that receives requests from the users of the system and creates tasks corresponding to each request received. The system then assigns this task to a techno member partner who actually executes this task on behalf of the user. The service requests include services like monthly billing, travel bookings, house maintenance, product complaints etc.
The application manages information related to all customers along with their preferred vendors for specific services. The system also integrates with an SMS gateway (developed in house) and an asterisk communication server for communication between the different users of the application.

USB Device Lock
This is a desktop application developed on .Net Framework 3.5 with VB.net as the front end and MySQL database as the backend. The application enables a user to customize usage of hardware of his/her workstation. He can enable/disable his mass storage device and control accessibility of his private files and folders. It includes the web part that includes user, password maintenance and license generation.
The main aim of the application is to ensure security of the system. User can password protect his files/folder/removable drives. Files while protecting are encrypted to avoid any fraudulent use. The application provides option to retrieve unique password of the files/folders. In retrieving password, user can select the locked folder and retrieve the lost user name and password. There will be unique password for locking/unlocking the files/folders/mass storage device. If user forgets his password, he can retrieve it from this page. He must be connected to internet (remote database server). On request, password will be mailed to the user.

E & J Gallo Winefinder Application
E & J Gallo Winery is the largest exporter of California wines. WinefinderAdmin is a web based application developed using Struts2, Hibernate and Ajax. This aim of this application is to manage different wine brands based on State, City, Distributors and the corresponding consumption of a particular wine brand at a particular level. The application maintains information pertaining to the quantity of various brands of wine on a per state, per city and per distributor basis.

Biometric Time Attendance System
The biometric fingerprint recognition based Time Attendance solution for small, medium and large size companies is a desktop application developed using Visual Basic 6 as front end and SQLServer2005 as the back end. The application utilizes a robust USB Optical fingerprint scanner connected to a personal computer to enroll fingerprints and later verify the same.
The application maintains an employee’s basic information and enrolls their fingerprints. At the time of In/Out the employee use their enrolled finger to mark their attendance (i.e. in-time & out-time). This provides a convenient and easy way to track an employee’s office timings as the administrator can generate reports for employees on a monthly basis.

VITAL (Virtual Internet Total Automated Lending)
This is a web based application developed using Struts, EJB, Axis, Jboss, and XML. VITAL is a unique approach for retail car lending. It’s simple and intuitive software tool that, even the most technologically unsophisticated dealer and salesperson can effectively use at the time-of-sale.
VITAL does this by providing car dealers and their sales staff with a simple integrated dealer management system (DMS) to help structure deals quickly and easily before they’re submitted to lenders for consideration. Even the most complex sub-prime loan application can be properly structured and submitted to lenders within minutes.
